Food Reviews

Eater.com – 13 Things to Try Before You Die – Everything Bagel: by far the most New York bagel in the metropolitan area, BB’s everything is massive, crunchy and doughy at the same time, and simply slathered in seeds and spices.

Atlanta Food Critic – the bagels are some of the best food just south of the Pine Barrens that you will ever put in your mouth. TIP: After you eat, order a bag of bagels to go! …homemade cream cheeses are unbelievably good and I’ve never thought of some of the flavors they have. Very unique….we loved the bagels so much we brought friends the next week, they loved the bagels too. Our new fav bagel joint.

BlissfulGlutton.com – there are simply no bagels inside the perimeter that compare to BB’s. Owners Eddie and Anna Siino run the small diner and bagel shop that has become a favorite amongst in-the-know bagel fiends. … bagels bound to impress even the most jaded aficionados. The bagels are made using an old classic recipe, hand-rolled and kettle-boiled every morning for that quintessential New York shine. The kettle boiling also yields the requisite chewiness no decent bagel is without.

AtlantaCuisine.com – BB’s if you’re looking for the absolute best…Too bad we ITP’ers don’t have a bagel anywhere close to the caliber of these…. If you want great, authentic NY style, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, often warm while they’re still in your bag bagels…. BB’s is your place!

Chow Down Atlanta – made the traditional, old-fashioned, New York City way. Hand rolled and kettle boiled.  The result is a shiny, chewy bagel that’s dense and firm yet airy and spongy. Every single flavor is fantastic. Their homemade cream cheeses are delicious. Don’t take my word for it. Go for the bagels. And breakfast. Just go. Eddie and Anna are awesome–they’ve managed to top the quintessential NY bagel…”

Epicurious.com – The Best Bagel Shops in America: Ten top food writers recommend their favorite local bagels:  According to John Kessler of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution,unless you head north about 30 miles, you won’t find anything resembling a “real boiled bagel” in Atlanta. To get a taste of the northeast down South, you’ll need to make an “expedition to the burbs” for BB’s Bagels in Alpharetta. It’s the only place in the entire Atlanta area offering hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels, and earns Kessler’s respect as “the City’s best”

Creative Loafing – CL Recommends – there are simply no bagels inside the perimeter that compare to BB’s. Owners Eddie and Anna Siino run the small diner and bagel shop that has become a favorite amongst in-the-know bagel fiends.

AJC Critics’and Readers’Choice – Best of the Big A: Best Bagels  – If you picked anyone other then BB’s, then you have not tried them. There is no comparison in Atlanta. Eddie Siino is a baker and bagel shop veteran who takes pride in his hand-rolled, kettle-boiled creations. Siino’s really big, fat bagels are bready and chewy, with a wonderfully crispy pretzel-like crust. Although B.B.’s Bagels has only been open for three years, it has fast become an award-winning favorite in Metro Atlanta — winning several fan votes last year for “Best Bagels in Atlanta”.
